In Memory of Those Who Died Before Help Became Available!

Haiti is a country where there is approximately one doctor to every 10,000 people! Not only is medical care rare, sometimes needed services are non-existent. Even when a doctor is available, most families cannot afford to go to the doctor. If they have enough money to see the doctor, they seldom have enough money to buy any needed prescriptions. If a family member is threatened with a major illness or surgery, most often the treatment must be ignored due to the inability to pay!
Caribbean Children's Foundation attempts to find the needed medical care for children who are brought to our attention. Many times this means seeking medical care in the United States. Our limited funds help to cover the costs of medical tests in Haiti, government documents, passports, visas and airfare. We seek medical professionals - hospitals, labs, doctors and nurses - who will provide gratis care for these little ones who will die without our help. We also seek host families to love and care for these children while they are away from their families and going through surgery and recovery. We cannot help these children without donors to help cover the expenses of getting these children to those health care providers.
Look at the faces of the children you see here! Reflect on the thought if this sick child were your own son or daughter! Sick children deserve a chance at life! You can help us make a difference! You gave give HOPE to a child! "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12, NLT
